Just telling is not enough anymore, they have to transmit and show what they see, in this case, through words. If what they write is not precise and thorough enough, the message is not conveyed.  Throughout the past weeks they have been improving this technique. These are some examples of what a good descriptive piece can cause on the reader.

After listening to excerpt of the story “The iron woman” by Ted Hughes, one of the students, Violeta Chiodi, could transmit the idea in her mind's eye to paper. And this is what she heardː
